How much data does your company have?
A small Chrome tool measures your Gmail, Drive and Slack in about 10 minutes while you watch. It reads sizes, counts and dates. It never opens an email, chat or file, and never sees a password.
Open this page in Chrome on a computer. The tool runs inside Chrome.
Download the tool
One small file. Open it from your Downloads and it becomes a folder named historypays-data-check.
On a PC, right-click the file and choose Extract All.
Add it to Chrome
- Open a new tab and paste this in the address bar.
chrome://extensions - Turn on Developer mode, top right.
- Click Load unpacked and choose the historypays-data-check folder in Downloads.
- Come back to this tab.
Waiting for Chrome
Run it
- Chrome wants you to open it yourself: click the puzzle piece by the address bar, then HistoryPays Data Check.
- Click Find my accounts. It lists the Google accounts and Slack workspaces in this Chrome.
- Check it picked the company's ones, then click Measure. If Google asks for your password, type it on Google's page.
